The cost of our house cleaning services in St. John’s are based on a person hour rate, which varies depending on service type.

Product Add-On (Optional)
We bring the equipment and, by default, Customers supply the cleaning products. For a nominal fee, your Provider can supply the cleaning products too:

Fuel Surcharge
A low marginal fuel surcharge is applied to each booking and gets paid, in full, to your Provider. The fuel surcharge for St. John’s is:

Minimum Base Rate Charge
We have a minimum dispatch rate for each type of house cleaning service as noted below:
- Maintenance House Cleaning: $108 base rate for up to 3 hours, then $36/person Hour*
- Deep House Cleaning: $135 base rate for up to 3 hours, then $45/person Hour*
- Spring House Cleaning: $135 base rate for up to 3 hours, then $45/person Hour*
- Move-In House Cleaning: $135 base rate for up to 3 hours, then $45/person Hour*
- Move-Out House Cleaning: $135 base rate for up to 3 hours, then $45/person Hour*
Please note that this does not mean that we will work for 3 hours. The process we take is to do the purchased checklist in a room then go to the next room and so on until all of the rooms that were agreed upon in advance are completed.
If this time is less than 3 hours we do not continue to work or do extra work. The booking is complete and the base rate is billed. If it is more than 3 hours then the hourly rate is applied.
House Cleaning Add-Ons (Optional)
Our add-ons are based on a flat rate plus the applicable person hour rate. The house cleaning add-on rates for St. John’s are:

How Billing Works
We bill by person hours, but customers don’t buy a set number of hours. Instead, they choose their cleaning package, then we complete the tasks in their chosen areas and multiply the GPS-tracked person hours by the applicable hourly rate to get the base service charge.
For each type of service, we follow a standardized house cleaning checklist outlining the tasks included. This helps to ensure clarity and prevent dissatisfaction from unmet expectations or missed tasks. We don’t provide customized house cleaning services, per se, but we’re open to minor modifications to our checklists. Please contact us with any special requests.
To estimate person-hours to complete a house cleaning checklist our algorithm considers the correlation between the home’s size and its number of bedrooms and bathrooms.
Our estimates are only approximations based on averages with final charges based on actual booking time, as tracked by GPS, plus any applicable add-ons or other fees, fuel surcharge, taxes and optional tip.
Their purpose is to give Customers a general idea of the potential cost, provide an amount to hold or pre-charge to secure the slot, help determine availability and allow Customers to make bookings online.
